up to 25mm sq.

Din Rail Mounting : SUPERTECH MCBs can be mounted on standard 35mm Din Rail by Snap action. No time wastage in installing
or replacing the MCBs.

HOUSING
The housing of SUPERTECH 10 KA MCBs is injection moulded thermoplastic polyester (PBT) material in RAL 7035 Grey Colour
as per international specifications. The material is fire retardant,
anti-tracking and non hydroscopic.
The housing can with stand a high temperature and is impact resistant.
WORKING PRINCIPLE
SUPERTECH MCBs are thermal magnetic type of breaker. They protect against overload and short circuit. Over load protection
is achieved with a thermal Bi-Metal strip which gets heated and in turn pushes the trip latch which releases the contacts
and the operating knob is switched to "OFF" position. In case of short circuit the high fault current energize the
magnetic coil resulting in plunger striking the trip lever which ensures
immediate releases of breaking mechanism and the operating knob is switched to "OFF" position.
CONTACTS
The contacts are made of solid silver inlaid into copper strip, ensuring
higher life, low resistance and low watt loss.
OPERATING MECHANISM
In the event of an over current or short circuit the MCB automatically
interrupts all poles even if the MCB knob is held
in "ON" position, the MCB will trip in the case of overload or short circuit internally.
MOUNTING ARRANGEMENTS
SUPERTECH MCBs are installed directly on 35mm DIN Rail simple snap action
